After 28 years as a photographer, I’ve learned that a great photo shoot should be a collaborative team effort and not high-stress. My approach is built on a simple philosophy: combining a creative, technical eye for food, interiors, and architecture with a calm, low-stress environment where my clients can actually breathe
What to expect on set A typical shoot day with me is organized but easygoing. I bring in seasoned assistants and trusted stylists (for interiors, food or products) who understand the nuances of my style and workflow. By having the right people in the right roles, we can move efficiently through a shot list without ever making the day feel rushed. It’s a professional partnership designed to get you the best possible images with zero ego and a lot of creative focus. My clients get the benefit of nearly three decades of experience, a steady hand, and a team that knows how to bring your vision to life—without the headache.
More about me The roots of my work go back to the age of 12 with my first camera and a family trip to Maine; I still have some of those original landscapes today. That early spark eventually led me to Ithaca College, where I studied History and Advertising, followed by a formative two years at the New England School of Photography. It was there that I met my wife, Amy, and for a decade, we worked together as the photo team Keller & Keller.
When our son started kindergarten, our professional paths shifted. Amy transitioned into the world of fine art and is now a talented encaustic artist behind Bumblebelly Designs (you can see her work here: [Instagram- BB Designs]). While our daily roles have changed, she remains my biggest supporter behind the scenes and still occasionally joins me on set to assist. Photography has always been a family affair for us, and that same sense of partnership and history is something I bring to every project I shoot today.
